Watoto Children’s Choir and Local African Musicians in Concert for Signs and Wonders African Night!

Signs and Wonders African Night was hosted and organised by the Faculty of Education, the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and supported by the Education Society and Graduate House of HKU in partnership with Watoto Asia.


The event began with the African Experience – drumming and traditional dress display. During that time, patrons might support the Watoto ministries by purchasing Watoto merchandise and sponsoring a Watoto mother or child. The concert started at 7:30 pm with a traditional African Praiser and then the story of the continent was retold by local African musicians as well as the Watoto Children’s Choir from Uganda.


Through this event, we celebrated the signs and wonders of Africa. At the same time, the Faculty of Education honoured 100 years of teacher education at HKU, while the Graduate House celebrated its 20th anniversary. Details are as follows:
